Wednesday is the day!
Well we have just come from a doctor's appointment and he has decided that I will have our baby on Wednesday! We are very excited, even though it still seems a little surreal. Our little baby is breech (head up instead of head down), so the doctor will try to turn her on wed. If it works, he will then induce me, and if it doesn't I will then have a c-section. We can't wait to finally meet our little girl!

More Birthday Fun!

To continue the birthday fun we went out to Chili's (yum yum) with our friends Justin and Natalie Westwood, and Krysta. We had a great time, ate yummy food, and Erik got very exciting presents! He got pens, cause he keeps losing his and stealing mine out of my planner so that I don't have one whenever I need to write something very important down, and an awesome new cell phone! Ok so that one is just a toy, he is getting his real new phone next week. Oh yeah, and he also bought himself drum silencers for his rock band drums last week, though maybe those were mostly for my sake, and he bought $50 worth of wii points with his gift money from family members. After dinner, Erik and I went to the movies and saw Push. It was interesting. I was actually surprised that they didn't have Dakota Fanning muttering the obligatory F-word for the PG-13 rating. But her barely-there skirt prob made up for it. Now I sound all negative, but we really did have a good time at the movies :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIK!
He is 25 years old today, A whole quarter of a century! We had birthday cake with our lunch since we are going out to dinner and a movie tonight (so more pics tomorrow). Yummy Oreo cake!
Thinking of a really good birthday wish. Look at all those flames!
He got them all in one try, so his wish will come true!

Small for dates
So I have found out that not being hugely pregnant can be a very bad thing. At my last doctor's appointment I was measuring pretty small for how far along I am, so I went in for an ultrasound. The ultrasound tech spent a lot of time measuring fluid and not very much time really looking at our baby, so we didn't even get to see much of her :( She also didn't talk at all about what she saw, but as we were leaving she cryptically remarked that we should be hearing from our doctor that same day and if we didn't then we needed to call him the next day. Well, if that isn't enough to freak anyone out, I went home and looked in my pregnancy book about what it means if there is not enough amniotic fluid (which was my guess from her measuring even though she didn't say anything) and the book went on and on about how it can be caused by things like the baby's kidneys not working or down syndrome or at the very least growth restriction, all of which would result in the baby needing to be delivered early.
Now I know that I had no concrete information about anything actually being wrong with my baby, but after reading stuff like that I really started to freak out, and I didn't hear from my doctor that day, so I called his office the next morning as soon as they opened and my doctor finally called me at one in the afternoon. I can assure you that it seemed like and eternity. He assured me that there was really nothing wrong with my baby. She is a little small and he thinks we might be off on my dates. That is all. All that stress and worry for nothing! My doctor decided that I should go in for a test every week just to monitor and make sure that my baby remains ok, but said that there is really nothing to be very worried about right now.
So if any of you reading this wish to someday become ultrasound technicians, keep your big mouths shut and don't scare first time mothers who really have no idea what is going on! It is not nice.

A New Haircut...
... and an update on my baby bump! So I finally got my hair cut. It was soooo long. I am very happy with the results, although it will prob never look this good again because I never take the time to straighten my hair. But it looks decent when it is curly too.

Out to Dinner with the Girls! (and some husbands)

Erik and I had dinner with my sister, Krysta, and two of my roommates from my freshman year of college, Tiona and Lauren and their hubbys. It was so much fun to see everybody and catch up. We had a great time. And Carl can't help cheesing for the camera :)
Trip to Temple Square!

What a fun time we had! Erik and I went to temple square with my fam and we saw the Joseph Smith movie, which was sooo good, we went on a tour of the conference center, that place is amazing, and we looked at the lights on temple square. It was a really fun afternoon and evening. There is actually a lot of art and other things to see in the conference center besides the huge auditorium that I had no idea was even there, so it was really neat.
