Will You Be Mine?

Holidays are so much more fun when you have kids! Valentine's day was spent at my mom's house this year. Erik was wonderful and after working all day he came home with flowers and cupcakes for me ( yum!) and I got him a drill bit set. So romantic I know, but I figured if I was going to spend money I would get him something he wanted.
Our little Noelle got a balloon that she loves (and luckily is still floating!) and a cute dress and hairbows which she got to show off at church :) Hope everyone had as nice of a day as we did!

What's Noelle Been Up To?

Cracking mommy and daddy up...

Stuffing her face (and finally working a tooth through, though you can't see it in this pic)...

"Helping" in the kitchen...

Taking baths...

And growing long, long hair...

Playing with her toys (sometimes in drawers I guess)...

Trying to be patient with all the pictures mommy takes...

Riding ponies...

Loving her daddy...

And just being cute! How we love this girl!

Happy 26th Birthday Erik!

Saturday was Erik's birthday! Unfortunately we did have to do some chores on his birthday, but we spent most of the day relaxing and having fun. It was fun to have Erik's special day and celebrate him and what a great husband and father he is. He is so smart, funny, and such a hard worker for our little family. And he is the best daddy! He loves his little Noelle very much; it warms my heart to see them together, and I am so grateful that he takes care of her every morning so I can go to school. I love you Erik!

I made him a Coca-Cola flavored cake. It really just ended up being a slightly glorified Texas Sheet cake, but it was still pretty yummy.
Noelle made him a birthday card with her own hand print and her own scribbles on it. and she got him a bag of tootsie rolls!

We went bowling for the first time as a family! Noelle couldn't bowl herself (she should prob at least be able to stand up by herself alone before we attempt anything like that) but she cheered us on. Look how small she looks sitting next to Erik! And, upon special request, we had Cafe Rio for dinner :) It was a fun day!
