Field of Screams!

Last night the Block and Bridle Club (our school's agriculture club) had a haunted house out at the school farm called the field of screams, even though it was actually in a barn, to collect cans of food for the local food pantry. This was our first year doing anything like this, and it actually turned out really well. I love Halloween, so naturally I was very excited for this event and I volunteered to help scare people. I was nervous that I wouldn't be very good at it and it would be lame, but I had a really fun time hiding in the haunted house and scaring people! This is the mask that I wore, along with a cape and just some black clothes. Simple, but very effective. Erik thought I looked hilarious in the mask without the rest of my costume, so he had to take a picture. Too bad he didn't want to come to the haunted house and see what the final product looked like :)

The Sad Truth

So I have decided to put up a picture of me with my baby bump. As you can see, it is pretty much absent. This picture was taken yesterday, so it is a fairly accurate representation of what I look like right now. Yes, my belt buckle sticks out farther than my tummy.

We Moved!

Hooray we have moved! We are so excited to be in our new bigger apartment! There is a place for everything, and no stuff on the floor! At least, there won't be when we're done unpacking. We are almost all the way done, just a few more things to figure out where and how we want them. A big huge thanks the Karalee and Jorgan, and Krysta! We couldn't have done it without you!

Family Time

We also had fun this weekend spending time with our families. We got to see some of our super-cute nieces a lot, which was way fun. Erik loves playing with all the kids in the family.

APX Party!

Well this year was pretty lame again, but we got to see some friends from the summer and Erik won a free backpack. Woot. Some of our friends dressed up in costumes for the party. We had Chewbacca, a Storm Trooper, and Jesus. It's probably a little sacraligious, but the guy really does look like Him with his hair long like that.

Harvest Holiday!

So this weekend is Harvest Holiday, and I am very excited to have a break, even if it is just a 3-day weekend. Really, I think the school just created the holiday for the first weekend of the deer hunt when they realized that the entire male population at school was always gone on the monday after. But I am grateful for the break, and very excited to spend some time with the fam. Also, this weekend is the APX end of the year party. Our first year the party was really great and last year it was really lame, so who knows what it will be like this year? I will be sure to let you know if we win any big prizes :) Yeah, we actually never win anything, so don't hold your breath.

Can you tell I'm excited?

So I actually didn't know that they ultrasound techs had given us a few little video clips of our precious girl until I looked a little closer this weekend. So here is a video of her moving around to add to all the pictures. Yes, I am a first-time-expecting-mother. Can you tell?

These last couple days it seems like she has been a lot more active. I can feel her move quite frequently during the day, but evenings seem to be her favorite time to do gymnastics :)

More baby pictures

In the first one you can see her head and what i think is her left arm and hand. In the second one you can see that she is sitting right on the top of her head, and her legs are bent up over head body so her knees are practically in her forehead. Silly girl :)

Our new apartment

These are some pictures of our new apartment. This building is right on main street in Cedar City. The apartment is a little older, but its big and quiet; two things that we love. We are going to move in Nov. 1

Arizona trip!

I took a trip down to phoenix to go to my cousin Shelley's wedding. Erik didn't get to come with me, which is why there is a shocking lack of any good pictures. But I had a fun time seeing all my mom's side of the family and spending time with cousins. And the wedding was beautiful.
