The Big Bad Doctor

Actually we love our doctor, but today Noelle had her 2 month visit and she had to get her shots. I actually had to leave the room. I couldn't watch. It made me feel sick just to even think about them poking my little baby. But she was a champ and really didn't hardly fuss at all. Just a little bit of crying, then she calmed down and went to sleep :) She was weighed too, and she is currently 9 lbs 9 oz, a full three pounds up from her birth weight. She is now in the 21st percentile for weight, instead of the 3rd like she was at birth. Yep, she's doing pretty good.

Beautiful Blessing Dress

Erik's sister Jenny made Noelle this perfect blessing dress. Thank you again Jenny! After the blessing day was over and done with I realized that we forgot to get pictures of Noelle in it, so I had to "re-create" the moment yesterday. Taking pictures is pretty easy when she's asleep :)

This is how the pictures turn out when she's not asleep.

Little Noelle Baby

She is such a big girl already! She smiles and sometimes will try to reach for things, but she isn't very good at it yet :) But she is getting a lot better at sticking her fist in her mouth if she lost her pacifier. She is so alert and it amazes me how much a 7 week old baby can do!

My little brother, Brett, got these for her when he was at Disneyland a couple weeks ago. They are so cute and she looks so precious in them.

Noelle gets hiccups a lot and when she cries at the same time she is hiccuping, she turns into a squeak toy. I know you aren't supposed to laugh at a crying baby, but it cracks us up.

Happy Easter and a Baby Blessing

We blessed our sweet little princess on Easter, and it was so much fun to have all the family together, to get to visit, and not have to drive home for three hours when it was over :) Thank you to everybody who helped and everybody who came. We truly appreciate your love for us and Noelle.

6 weeks!

Noelle turns six weeks old today. We are so happy!

Alyssa read in one of her books that a good way to get rid of cradle cap is to use vaseline. This is what happens when you use vaseline.

Here's me doing some multi-tasking.
