Fire
I was watching the local news this morning, and I saw that there was a business fire in Cedar City. I walked outside to see if I could see the building that had been burned. It turned out the building was only a block away from our apartment and I could see all the fire trucks still trying to put the fire out. Its always a little strange to see familiar things on the news or on television. Craziness.

oh man that is scary! I'm so glad it didn't involve you guys at all! i missed you on thanksgiving. but i heard it wsa great. sorry we couldn't be there. we were busy laying out at the beach! :)
Sadly, the fire burned down our 5-buck pizza. Actually I'm not that sad about it, we never go there. But it also burned a bicycle shop and a bookstore so it took forever to get the fire out. It burned from about 2 am to after 10 am. Luckily, the Pastry Pub (a local favorite) was mostly spared and suffered only minimal damage.
